Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that the party convention should be held before the upcoming assembly elections.

In the event organized by the Congress on Thursday in Surkhet, leader Dr. Koirala said, 'Now the Congress is the entire establishment party . We are all one. According to the constitution of the Congress, the convention should be held on time . If the convention is held after the election, the party will be weak.'

dr. Koirala said that he is moving forward as a candidate for the post of chairman in the upcoming convention. He said, 'The situation has come where we all have to move forward together . The government should also be serious about it.'

The current power coalition has agreed on seven points, but it has not been implemented. Koirala said. He said that it is wrong that the two big parties come together to create autocracy. He said that even though the Congress is in power, they are taking precautions.
