Speaker Devraj Ghimire said that the National Democracy Day will inspire to remain committed to democratic values and ideals.
On the occasion of the National Democracy Day, Speaker Ghimire, in his greeting message issued today, paid tribute to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives to realize the dream of democracy, democracy and civil liberties.
'The democratic movement of 2007 freed the Nepali people from the darkness of autocracy and brought them into the light of freedom,' the message says, 'Democracy Day inspires us to remain committed to democratic values and ideals.'
Speaker Ghimire, in his message, paid heartfelt tributes to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives to realize the dream of democracy, democracy and civil liberties. "With the sacrifices of the martyrs, the country set the path to the republic with democracy and civil freedom. The people's movement of 2062/63 ended the panchayat autocracy and monarchy and started the era of federal democratic republic," the message said, "This achievement was possible because of the bold struggle of the Nepali people and the sacrifice of the martyrs."
It is mentioned in the message that the country has achieved significant success in political movement and revolution, but there is still a lot of work to be done to bring about positive changes in people's lives.
