Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, who was injured in a balloon explosion during his visit to Pokhara, has returned home from Kirtipur Hospital.
Paudel, who has been undergoing treatment at the hospital for two days, was discharged today. The health condition of Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya is getting normal and he will be kept in the hospital for a few more days, the hospital said.
'Both people's burns are healing and the lungs are not affected. Due to this, it has been decided to 'discharge' Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel from the hospital today," said a press release issued by Kirtipur Hospital, "Mayor Dhanraj Acharya is being consulted with a cardiologist due to high blood pressure, so it is being informed that he will undergo further treatment in a few days."
The hospital also said that meeting with Mayor Acharya has been stopped to reduce the risk of infection.
