After demanding action against misbehaving Indian students, the university administration has issued a notice to all Nepalese students to leave the college on Monday.
At 4-5 in the evening, news of suicide spread in the university and a Nepali student informed that he was immediately taken to Kim's Hospital. He said that the protest started at the hostel from 10 pm and everyone started to be 'deported' on Monday morning. "I was going to the mess to have lunch, the warden said you should go back home," he said, "Those who refused to go were beaten by the security guards."
According to the students who came in contact with Kantipur, the university brought more than 500 Nepali students to Bhubaneswar and Cuttack railway stations and left them. They said that they were stranded because the train to Nepal runs only on Thursday.

The Nepali Embassy in New Delhi has said that it has spoken to the representative of the university and requested to arrange security arrangements for Nepali students. "After getting information about the incident, we are talking to the university administration." "We have drawn the attention of the relevant authorities to investigate the incident and ensure the safety of the students," Surendra Thapa, deputy head of the embassy, told Kantipur.
Security has been tightened in the university campus and the police are investigating the incident. Prakriti's family members have already left for the spot. The Indian media quoted the local police officer as saying that her room was locked until Prakriti's parents arrived.
According to another Nepalese student studying computer engineering at KIIT, Lamsal was repeatedly abused by Srivastava. A group of Nepali students filed a complaint at the International Relations (IR) office on Sunday night about the mistreatment of him.
'We went to file a complaint at the International Relations Office at around 9.30 pm on Sunday night to take action against those students . But let the action be taken, we were not even heard,' he said to Kantipur, who is studying computer engineering.
Srivastava had abused Lamsal before. But at that time, the college administration suspended the student for a few days as an action. According to the Indian media, Srivastava has been arrested by the police and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
