Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut has said that there is a need to address the control of illegal access to information and the security and appropriate use of information by state laws. He said this while addressing the 5th Law Asia International Human Rights Conference in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Chief Justice Raut said that there is a need to pave the way for legal and judicial remedies in the violation of human rights through technology. He said, "It seems that the constructive role of legal mechanisms is being sought in the appropriate balance of the use and protection of natural resources related to human life, the protection of endangered wildlife, the guarantee of the cultural rights of tribal communities and development projects of greater public importance." Therefore, the role of today's legal and judicial skilled manpower is expected in contemporary human rights issues.

Chief Justice Raut said that although environmental hygiene and ecological balance are fundamental aspects of environmental protection, underdeveloped, developing and developed countries should be concerned and concerned about the challenges of climate change.

He  In terms of environmental justice, Nepal's judiciary has been playing an effective role since the past. He said that there are many areas of legislative work in the field of communication and information technology.
