CPN Maoist Center Deputy Secretary General Varshman Pun has accused Prime Minister KP Oli of dissolving the Parliament at any time and announcing mid-term elections.
While inaugurating the second convention of Arun rural municipality of Maoist center Bhojpur on Saturday, Pun said that there is always a threat to the democratic system and democracy from Oli. Pun alerted the main ruling party Congress leaders about Oli's possible undemocratic move . Giving an example of dissolving the parliament in the past, he claimed that Oli will try to confirm that the dissolution of the parliament that he did at that time was correct. As a rehearsal for the same, the comment that Oli is trying to run the government by ordinance is repeated.
"Oliji doesn't like the democratic system and democratic institutions like parliament," Pun said, "We failed the dissolution of the parliament in the past from the streets." In his mind, he still thinks that his old steps should be confirmed. I would like to request the Congress leaders to be aware of this . He will again dare to push the country into the mid-term by dissolving the parliament, be aware of this.'
Pun accused Oli of being an autocratic, arbitrary and individualistic leader suffering from frustration and revenge.
While his president Dahal was running the government well with the support of Congress, Oli admitted that it was his weakness that he could not break the unity of the CPNNA and left the Congress and cooperated with the UML. However, he says that Oli cheated within a few months of forming the government.
'After meeting our president continuously for 6 months, Oliji said that if the UML and Maoists do not get along, then after the 084 speech, our situation will be that of the Communist Party of West Bengal, which ruled for 35 years.' The government was running well. It's okay if Oliji realizes his mistake and says let's meet. We agree that the people want the same. But, he cheated . How long did Oliji stay to seek revenge?'
Pun repeated the allegation that the Congress and the UML met overnight after the investigation of the Bhutanese refugee issue. He said that the recent activities of the government confirm that this government was created to protect middlemen, corrupt people and those involved in exploiting the state.
