The meeting of the ruling coalition has agreed to advance the proposal that five of the six ordinances that have reached the parliament should be accepted. A meeting held on Saturday at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, of the party supporting the government agreed to advance five ordinances.

The government brought amendments to some laws related to good governance promotion and public service delivery, cooperatives, economic and business environment improvement and investment enhancement, privatization (first amendment) and economic procedure and financial responsibility (first amendment) ordinance and land ordinance. 

Jaspa Nepal, which supported the government, questioned the intention of the government to bring the ordinance and decided not to accept the land ordinance. Rajkishore Yadav, the first vice president of Jaspa Nepal and the coordinator of the Ordinance Study Working Group, said that the land ordinance is not in the interest of the country in the long run. He said, 'We believe that this ordinance was brought with the intention of distributing land to land mafia and some middlemen, it will cause great damage to the country. Therefore, the land ordinance cannot be accepted.' 

The leader also informed that there is a possibility that the five ordinances will be forwarded by the meeting of the Federal Parliament on Sunday. The

meeting was attended by Prime Minister and UML President KP Sharma Oli, Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML Senior Vice President Ishwar Pokharel, Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, JSP President Ashok Kumar Rai and General Minister Mohammad Istiyak Rai, LOSPA President Mahant Thakur, Civil Liberation Party President Ranjita Shrestha and Janmat Party Vice President Abdul Khan and others participated in the meeting.

The Prime Minister's Secretariat has informed that issues including the effectiveness of the work of the government and parliament and various ordinances under consideration were discussed in the meeting.
