Chairman of the CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that if the government reduces the equalization subsidy, the government will go in the opposite direction. Dahal, who came to Gulmi to inaugurate the administrative building of Malika rural municipality, said that he would seriously talk to the government about the matter.

"The Federal Civil Service Act, due to the lack of which the states are struggling, I registered that act after a lot of pain, the School Education Act has also been passed in the House after a lot of effort, the Police Adjustment Act is also in the process of implementation, but there are some complications and challenges, we are debating on it," said Dahal, "I think that if those laws are passed, the state and the local level will definitely become stronger." "It is not just because the local people have arrived at Singha Durbar, it is necessary to increase their awareness and their activism as well," he said. Dahal praised the local levels led by the Maoists as having become the best performing local levels in the country every year in the government evaluation. Malika Rural Municipality was the best in the country in the assessment of the Finance Commission last year.
Dahal said that he felt that the alliance would not be broken when he was welcomed by Nepali Congress leaders at Gulmi and Tehrathum events.
While making the constitution, he decided to take the rights of the lion court to the villages, he suggested to the employees to provide better service to the people as development, construction, education, health and employment are now in their own homes.
Dahal said that Madan Bhandari and Saljhandi-Dhorpatan road passing through Gulmi had been envisioned and advanced when he was the Prime Minister and now there is a need for a North-South Link Road to connect those roads, and he said that he will take serious initiatives for its arrangement in the House and the government.
