Speaking at zero time in today's meeting of the House of Representatives, the MPs drew the government's attention to the increasing incidents of wild animal attacks, road accidents, fires, and corruption.

The parliamentarians of the opposition party Rashtriya Swatantra Party also demanded to publish the property details of the ministers in the government. MP Asmakumari Chowdhury also held the view that farmers suffering from Swargadwari Guthi are protesting in Kathmandu and in the district as well, so their demands should be heard.

Member of Parliament Ambika Basnet has expressed her concern that the cases of missing children and abductions in Kathmandu Valley are becoming public. MP Ammar Bahadur Thapa emphasized that the government should increase the capital budget expenditure. She said that due to lack of efficiency in budget allocation, the trend of giving budget to places where there is no budget but where it is not possible to spend should be stopped. She also demanded immediate provision of relief and compensation money to Jajarkot earthquake victims.

MP Amritadevi Agrahari accused the opposition parties of opposing the good works done by the government. Another MP, Ashok Kumar Choudhary, alleged that even though the country has been declared free of commlary, this malpractice is still being protected from the state level.

MP Asim Shah said that even though the existing government has been in existence for a long time, the property details of the ministers should be made public. He demanded the formation of a powerful commission to investigate various cases of corruption.

Member of Parliament Ishwari Ghartimagar demanded that cervical and breast cancer tests should be made free. Member of Parliament Ishwaridevi Neupane urged the government to arrange embankments in rivers including Karnali as there is a problem of flooding in various areas of Kailali district. MP Urmila Majhi said that even though the education and health sectors are considered as fundamental rights, they have not been effectively implemented. She raised the issue of increasing number of patients in the emergency room of Veer Hospital.

MP Rishikesh Pokharel drew the government's attention to the lack of fertilizers, seeds and irrigation for winter crops. He opined that the government's monopoly on fertilizer import should be broken and the private sector should be allowed to import.

MP Eknath Dhakal said that Nepal should be able to use the Everest Dialogue to be held in May to establish the issue of climate justice. Member of Parliament Kantika Sejuwal raised the issue in Parliament that the check pass machine of Nepalgunj Customs Office has not been repaired even though it has been broken for a long time.

MP Kaluram Rai raised the issue that snakebite cases increase in summer but there are not enough hospitals to treat snakebites. Member of Parliament Chandrakant Bhandari also stressed that necessary initiatives should be taken by the government and subordinate agencies to reduce road accidents. MP Dr. Chanda Karki Bhandari raised the issue of delay in construction of various roads. Member of Parliament Chitra Bahadur KC demanded to inform Parliament about the work being done by the government to search for Bipin Joshi from Kanchanpur, who is missing in the war between Israel and Hamas.

Member of Parliament Chiringalhamu Lama (Tamang) demanded a serious investigation into the attack on the police in Thamel, Kathmandu some time ago. Member of Parliament Javeda Khatun Zaga said that the Muslim community has been neglected by the state. He says that the Ministry of Education has discriminated against Muslims in the scholarship program.

Member of Parliament Julie Kumari Mahato (Mahaseth) said that delays in tree felling, land acquisition, management of construction materials, etc. have affected development construction.
