The Safe Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 has been unanimously passed by the House of Representatives. Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced that the Bill was passed unanimously in the House of Representatives meeting on Monday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel submitted a proposal to pass the bill with the permission of Speaker Ghimire. He informed the House that the government is committed to implementing the bill. 

The amendments mentioned in the Report 1 and 2 of the Finance Committee regarding the Safe Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 were unanimously approved. 

Speaker Ghimire, in the reply of the Finance Committee, announced that the Amendment Bill mentioned in Serial No. 1 and 2 has become a part of the Bill.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Paudel said, 'It is expected that the implementation of the provisions in the proposed bill will ensure that the transactions in the mortgage of movable property are safe and orderly, and the obligations on the movable property will be fulfilled and this will increase the economic activity in the mortgage of movable property.'
