Independent MP Amresh Kumar Singh has challenged Kathmandu Metropolitan City Chief Balendra Shah to demolish the federal parliament building. He gave this warning while speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday.

MP Sah mentioned that they are oppressing Kawadi businessmen and also drew the attention of the government to stop this action. He said that Mayor Shah has turned out to be a dictator and accused him of going against the constitutional right of citizens to move from one place to another.

He said, 'I want to challenge Balen, if you have the guts, show it by demolishing the Parliament building, demolishing the Singha Darbar, demolishing the Supreme Court on Ram Shah Path. If you have courage, show it by demolishing Baluwatar and Rashtrapati Nivas Sheetal Nivas.'

He termed Mayor Shah's style as 'Nazism' and said that such style will not work here. He said, 'I want to request the federal government that this country is multilingual and multi-religious. Here, the constitution has given the freedom to move, speak and live from one place to another. This is a devastation of the country of Lathaling. This is a country where justice is dead ? What is a country without laws? Why has that mayor turned out to be a dictator?'
