Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that Nepal's education sector has collapsed. Addressing the 60th anniversary of Arunodaya Secondary School on Friday, former President Bhandari said that education should be the main pillar of nation building, but that is not happening.
She said that after passing the secondary level, they should be able to create employment opportunities in the country in order to end the environment where students go to study abroad. "I have experienced that the education sector has been destroyed." As education is the main pillar of nation building, various parts of the state are strengthened from it and the contribution we should make to the future generations has not been done . Now the facts show that it is difficult to attract our new generation to the country after passing high school . Yesterday, we opened high schools or schools in the village due to the need, now they are like zero zero,' she said.
Former President Bhandari also said that now is a favorable time to develop the country. She said that in the past there was a problem of changing the government in three months, but now the government is permanent. Now is also a favorable time. The government is also running permanently. Otherwise, we have a problem here, the government changed in three months and tried to do one thing, but there was no step forward, now two big political parties are working together to stabilize it and make economic progress . I wish them all the best. If it cannot be done even now, there is interest among the people as to what to do,' she said.
