Stating that a false case has been filed against a couple who had a love marriage in Barathwa-10 of Sarlahi, the MPs have demanded a fair investigation.

In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, the parliamentarians drew attention to the incident of Sarlahi by taking emergency time. They said that Satyendra and Neha, whose marriages have already been registered, should not be hurt on the basis of inter-caste marriage. Even if the state takes a policy to encourage inter-caste marriages, the implementation in practice  Parliamentarians objected if not. Parliamentarians Shanti Wik, Harkamaya Wik, Ranendra Barali and Shiv Nepali discussed this issue during the emergency session of today's meeting.

During the emergency, MP Sumana Shrestha said that protests started on social media about the social media bill registered by the government in Parliament.
