Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has instructed the Ministry of Urban Development to speed up the upgrade of the Kirtipur Cricket Stadium.

Taking information about the activities of the Ministry at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, Singhdarbar on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli directed to speed up the work of making the Kirtipur Cricket Stadium international level. He said that he would upgrade the stadium within 300 days during his restoration. 

The Prime Minister was informed that the contract agreement will be signed soon as the evaluation stage is over according to the tender called by the ministry for the construction of parafit and floodlights in the stadium.

Prime Minister Oli said in the meeting that since the budget comes to the Parliament every May 15, the budget and programs should be implemented carefully from the beginning of the new financial year. Prime Minister Oli said that the current progress of the current financial year of the ministry was 19.35% and the capital progress was only 12.04%. He instructed to work without delay as there will be an impact on the production and productivity growth of the country if there is a delay in infrastructure construction.

Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashanman Singh and related high-ranking officials also participated in the discussion and informed about the construction, handover, operation and future plans of the Ministry of Federal Parliament Building, Dharahara, residence of Federal Ministers, Damak Business Complex, Chandi Dal of Nepal Army, Nepal Rashtra Bank building located in Thapathali.
