CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that some mistakes have been made by the party in the past. Addressing the vigilance meeting organized by the Maoist Center Myagdi in Beni today, Chairman Dahal admitted that the party has made some mistakes recently.

Mentioning that the Maoists led a decisive and historic movement to empower the people through political change in Nepal, President Dahal admitted the recent mistakes and said that the party has returned to its class and community with serious introspection. "We could not maintain party unity, we became a little distant from our class and community," said President Dahal. Now we have moved forward with the determination to return to our own class and community. Chairman Dahal also said that he will go among the people to review the good and bad works done by the

party. He said that he will move forward once again with the strength of the people. "Yesterday, during the revolution, we were not in the forest but in the arms of the people, but later we were trapped in the forest when we were surrounded by brokers and middlemen. And now we have broken that circle," said President Dahal. 

Chairman Dahal claimed that he will do better in the 2084 election than in the 2064 Constituent Assembly election. In 2006, the Maoists won 120 direct and 100 proportional seats. President Dahal also claimed that if there is harmony between the referendum of 2064, the country will be raised to a new place. If we get a better public vote than 64 in 84, the roots of corruption will be uprooted from the country. I have now gone on a nationwide campaign with this appeal and soon the entire party line will join the nationwide campaign," he said. 

President Dahal mentioned that when he led the government for the third time, he started a historic campaign against corruption and in favor of good governance. He also claims that due to the campaign started in favor of good governance, social justice and prosperity, hope and trust have increased among the people.
