Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has launched the HPV vaccination campaign against cervical cancer for teenagers on the occasion of World Cancer Day.
In a program held today at Shivpuri Higher Secondary School in Baluwater, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3 launched the campaign by providing vaccination materials to the health workers.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, four women die of cervical cancer every day in the country. Cervical cancer is caused by human papilloma virus infection. Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women in Nepal.
