The police arrested 9 people with illegal drugs from different places of the country on the same day. The Nepal Police Headquarters informed that they were arrested by the police on Monday in different incidents.
According to the office, those arrested are Arjun Gurung of Kanchanpur Bhimdatta Municipality 11, Surendra of Taplejung Sidingwa Rural Municipality 3 Rai, Vivek Ale Magar of Gorkha Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality 1, Bharatpur Prashant Gurung of Metropolitan Municipality 3, Tula Ram Chaudhary of Kailali Gauriganga Municipality 11, 31-year-old Shravan Kumar Chaudhary, Ajay Chaudhary, Vivash Chaudhary and Bardiya Thakurbaba Municipality-4, Mainwar are a juvenile whose identity has not been disclosed. Police said that all of them are young.
Gurung was arrested from Bhimdatta Municipality 11 along with 2 grams of 830 milligrams of illegal drug brown heroin while he was coming from India to Nepal on foot.
Rai was arrested by the police stationed at the Narcotics Control Bureau branch office Kankarvitta with 1 gram of 130 milligrams of brown heroin. Similarly, the police deployed from District Police Office Chitwan and Ward Police Office Narayangadh seized 765 tablets of tramadol, 795 tablets of Bhomin and cash. Vivek Ale Magar and Prashant Gurung were arrested along with 8,400 rupees. Police found 1,720 tablets of Tramadol, 1,735 tablets of Vomin from Vivek's room and Prometh 12 tablets have also been found and recovered.
Since then, Tula Ram Chaudhary, Shravan Kumar Chaudhary, Ajay Chaudhary and Vivash Chaudhary, who were arrested in Kailali, were arrested with 70 grams of illegal drug Gazza from a mobile shop in Jhanjhatpur. The police stationed from the area police office Masuria arrested them along with the said Gaza. The youth who was arrested from Thakurbaba municipality 1 with 130 milligrams of illegal drug brown sugar was arrested by the police stationed from area police office Bhurigaua.
