Pathibhara cable car dispute: JSPA Nepal's request to find a solution through negotiations

The meeting of Janata Samajwadi Party, Central Executive Committee of Nepal has been completed today. The meeting, which has been going on for three days at the party central office, ended on Monday evening.

Jaspa Nepal has requested the government to immediately stop the government suppression and arrests of the 'No Cable Car Movement' currently taking place in Eastern Nepal and find a solution through dialogue, and has demanded the government to treat the injured and release the arrested protestors immediately.

Kirant-Limbuwan's center of cultural and religious faith Pathibhara (Mukumlung) natural structure of the government's suppression of the movement is against the recognition of democratic values, the meeting has condemned the undemocratic steps of the government.

Jaspa is of the view that the government has violated the rights of the tribal communities by using force against the people who are struggling non-violently and peacefully for their religious, cultural beliefs and identity.
