Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that if unity is established within the party, they will get a majority in the next election. Speaking at the orientation organized for the provincial chairman and the head of the training department in Pokhara on Monday on the central policy of the Congress, the project of research and training institute and the management of the Gandaki provincial committee, he emphasized the need for unity within the party.

This constitution has done the job of representing all castes. We are going to make this constitution. It is not that easy for any party to get a majority in this constitution,' he said, 'even if the party walks as one, if we forget our differences and all friends work together to establish unity in our party, our party can also get a majority.'    He said that if the party can maintain unity, it will be possible to face the challenge of strengthening democracy, inclusive proportional politics, and federal system. "Kathmandu alone cannot develop the country," he said. We have progressed on the path of federal democracy.

Stating that their rights at union, state and local levels have been ensured, he urged the leaders and activists participating in the training to use their rights and move forward with humility. "It is not by increasing pride, it is not as if we did not get anything, it should come to us from within that we are people who serve the people," he said, "I believe that you will move forward as servants of the people." The system is very well organized  Stating that it has been established, he mentioned that it is also an example for other countries. "Our country has made a lot of progress," he said, "but not only by strengthening it institutionally, but by strengthening it, it is credible to the people, the people truly support it, this system, this federal democratic republic, and the inclusive and proportional politics of the people." We need to create a feeling. If that happens, I believe, if our country is true, it will become a country with diverse castes and communities spread from mountains, hills, Madhesh, Mechi to Mahakali.'

Even though it is difficult for any one party to get a majority in the inclusive, proportional political system, he said that the Congress succeeded in making it the largest party. He said, 'That's why the leaders of tomorrow, who have to lead the party, have to build the party, a huge responsibility has come on their shoulders.' He mentioned that he will get a majority in the elections alone. For that, he proposed to conduct a campaign in 2081, 082 and 083. "After the success of the three-year campaign, there will be a single majority in the local, provincial and federal elections," he said, "if the majority is stopped, the internecine crimes that have been going on for years will stop it."
