Resident doctors demonstrated in hospitals across the country on Sunday against the decision taken by Health Minister Pradeep Paudel and Education Minister Vidya Bhattarai. Doctors participated in the demonstration by boycotting non-essential services from 9 am to 12 pm.
According to Sangharsh Committee for Safe Workplace for Health Workers, Manipal Medical College, Chitwan, Gandaki, Nepalgunj Medical College, District Hospital Dhankuta, Charikot, Dadeldhura, Madhes Institute of Health Sciences, Dhulikhel Hospital under Kathmandu University, Bhojpur District Hospital, Dullu Hospital, Chautra, Dolpa and Madhyabindu are The doctors left work at the city hospital and started protesting.
