Ashika Tamang, who describes herself as a social activist, has been ordered to be released on a bond of 20,000 rupees.

The Bhaktapur District Court ordered Tamang to be released on bail on Friday. Judge Santosh Prasad Parajuli's bench ordered him to be released on 20,000 bail for the offense of criminal nuisance.

Earlier, she was released after paying a bond of 10,000 at the district administration office in Kathmandu. Tamang, who was arrested on January 2 on the charge of misbehaving with the police, was released on a bail of 10,000, and on January 14, the District Police Complex Bhaktapur took custody of her for the crime of criminal nuisance. Some time ago, he filed a complaint with the police saying that he had damaged the structures and tickets for crossing the suspension bridge built by Suryavinayak Municipality in Sanga, Bhaktapur. According to Bhaktapur police spokesperson DSP Dhundiraj Neupane, Tamang will be released today after posting bail.

Tamang said that taking money while crossing the bridge is wrong and she also burnt the ticket and tore the notice board. After Tamang was detained, the issue was discussed from social media to the parliamentary committee.
