We have brought an ordinance for the reforms: Prime Minister Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the reform ordinance was brought in with a bang. Addressing the first meeting of the fifth session of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Oli has defended that the ordinance will be introduced when there is no parliament.

'Some friends are asking - Why did you pass the parliament and bring the ordinance? Bringing an ordinance is when the parliament is not in session,' said Prime Minister Oli. Oli also said that the ordinance was introduced because the reformation could not wait until the parliament session. 'On the one hand, the process is on the other hand, the ordinance has been brought for the results,'  He said .

Prime Minister Oli said that the ordinance should be discussed on the basis of merits and demerits rather than opposition. He said, 'Let's discuss on an issue basis . It is a matter of parliament to reject it, reduce it or pass it in the same way.' Defending the

ordinance, Prime Minister Oli said, '11 to increase investment by improving the economic and commercial environment immediately, 12 related to promoting good governance and public service,  3 related to land and forest, Economic Procedure and Financial Responsibility Act, Privatization Act and Cooperative Act, 29 Acts have been amended through Ordinance. After these laws were amended at once through an ordinance, I will take the words of the media and say - "the country has started an unprecedented reform" in building good governance and business environment. With this, now, the trend of getting stuck in the work of service users by rotating files in the government office will be stopped.'
