Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai, Member of Parliament of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML), has said that the guidelines presented by the government should be carried forward literally in order to make the meeting of the Parliament effective.

Speaking on behalf of his party in today's meeting of the House of Representatives, he expressed his belief that he can effectively push forward 40 different bills in this session of the Parliament by keeping the needs of the country at the center.

Mentioning that it has been 6 months since the formation of the current government, he also said that the government will address the people's expectations on time and take action to reach a result-oriented conclusion. Mentioning that the current government has adopted the national model, he claimed that during this period, the work of instilling hope in the people, the economy has improved.

He said that due to some ordinances brought by the government in recent days, there has been an environment for expansion of investment and such practice has been in the past as well. Bhattarai said that the ordinance was brought by the government with the aim of providing systematic settlement to the unorganized landless and slum dwellers.

MP Bhattarai argues that they brought forward the issue of constitutional amendment with the goal of strengthening democracy, institutionalizing the republic, and effectively implementing fundamental rights. He said that in the seven-point agreement reached between the Nepali Congress and the UML during the formation of the government, the issue of constitutional amendment has been moved forward and it will further strengthen democracy.
