The Winter Session of the Federal Parliament will be held tomorrow, January 18, Friday at 1 pm at the International Conference Centre, New Baneshwar. This session is also considered as a bill session.
The Federal Parliament Secretariat has published the possible agenda of both the Houses . According to the spokesperson of the Secretariat, Ekram Giri, in the House of Representatives meeting held tomorrow, the speaker will read out the details of the letter received from the President regarding the summoning of the session, assignment of duties of the Prime Minister and addition of duties received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers .
Likewise, the speaker will nominate a member to preside over the meeting according to Rule 10 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2079. On the day of the beginning of the session, as before, there is an agenda for the members to put their opinions on the party basis. In the
meeting, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will submit the 'Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts on Good Governance Promotion and Public Service Delivery, 2081'. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel submitted the 'Economic Procedures and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2081', 'Privatization (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2081' and 'Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Improvement of Economic and Business Environment and Promotion of Investment, 2081' will do . Similarly, Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Minister Balram Adhikari will submit 'Ordinance to amend some Nepal Acts related to Cooperatives, 2081' and 'Ordinance to amend some Nepal Acts related to Land, 2081' . There is a possible agenda for the Speaker to present various condolence proposals in the meeting.
Similarly, apart from the agenda mentioned in the meeting of the National Assembly, there is an agenda to submit the report of the committee on the Media Council Bill, 2080 and the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Bill, 2081.
In addition to various bills pending in both houses, more new bills have also been registered. Important bills related to the implementation of federalism in the parliament such as federal civil service, school education, police adjustment have been under consideration for a long time . The Parliament Secretariat informed that the bill is being discussed in the relevant parliamentary committees.
