Political instability has adversely affected the economy: Prime Minister Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the recent political instability in Nepal has affected the country's economy, trade and industry.

At the opening program of the Nepal Chamber Expo in Kathmandu on Thursday, Prime Minister Oli also said that he is going to return to the rhythm from the negative impact on the economy. "Everybody knows that things like the very uncomfortable political instability of some interval have adversely affected the country's economy, industry, business, trade, production and export," said Prime Minister Oli. To make it dynamic and from next year we want to take it from underdeveloped to middle income country by 2026.'


Prime Minister Oli said that since the income level of Nepal is at a low level, we should work to bring about changes in it. He urged everyone to move forward unitedly for that.


Prime Minister Oli said that Nepal's information technology sector has become an important and integral part in everything from trade and business. Mentioning that Nepal is rapidly advancing development works, he said that it is also progressing significantly in the IT sector. Now the IT sector is not only discussed, it has become an integral and important part of our business, our daily life. Nepal is moving forward, it wants to move forward more intensively,' he said.


Prime Minister Oli said that the government has taken steps to promote the IT sector as an export business. He also said that the country cannot develop without infrastructure. He was of the opinion that everyone's initiative is necessary for that.
