Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has said that the present government is continuously on the journey of development and economic prosperity in the country with good governance.
On the occasion of the National Martyrs' Day, he mentioned that it is a national responsibility to strengthen the path of sustainable peace, good governance, prosperity, stability and development in the country by moving forward on the path shown by the martyrs.
The Home Minister emphasized that while maintaining lasting peace and stability in the country envisioned by the constitution, maintaining national unity, progress and harmony in the society, everyone should work together to realize the vision of justice, equality and a prosperous Nepal .
Defense of the constitution, strengthening of the federal democratic governance system is the national need of today, the home minister said that everyone should protect the constitution and strengthen the federal democratic republican governance system through consensus, coordination and cooperation. He said that the current government is on the side of the citizens and mentioned that the establishment of rule of law is the first priority of the government.
With the view that the journey of sustainable peace, development and prosperity with good governance can be completed in the country as envisioned by the constitution through the federal democratic republic system, he said that the government is firmly on the same path.
He said, 'I want to express my commitment again on behalf of the government, that no obstacles, obstacles and difficulties will stop us from establishing sustainable peace, harmony, development and prosperity in the country. We will continue to work in favor of the people and make the dreams of martyrs come true.'
Stating that the Ministry of Home Affairs is constantly working to ensure the safety of citizens, to maintain peace, stability and the rule of law, the minister expressed the commitment of the government to ensure peace and security, control crime and promote social justice in the country .
Emphasizing the need for coordination and cooperation between all political parties to maintain national unity, progress and harmony in society, he called upon everyone to cooperate in protecting democracy and making the sacrifice of martyrs meaningful.
