The Martyrs' Memorial Fund Committee at Byas Municipality-8 Pulimrang in Tanahun has requested President Ramchandra Paudel to support the development of the Martyrs' Park.

  On that occasion, Chief District Officer Shyamakrishna Thapa informed that President Paudel laid wreaths at the shrines of the martyrs in Pulimrang Shahid Park.

About 40 kilometers north from Damauli, the headquarters of Tanahun, there are half-length statues of Bharat Gurung, Shamsher Bahadur Gurung, Laldhwaj Gurung, Dharmadhwaj Gurung, Sarbsingh Gurung and Hastaveer Gurung in Shaheed Park at Pulimrang. The above-mentioned martyrs who lost their lives in the movement against Jahannia Ranasan and independent panchayat system were born in Pulimrang.

In this context, the Martyrs' Memorial Fund Committee was established in 2051 and the half-size statues of six martyrs were placed in 2066.  

After the completion of the program related to President Paudel Martyr's Day, there will be a program to participate in the diamond jubilee ceremony of Mangala Secondary School located in Sotipasal, Madhya Nepal Municipality of Lamjung.
