Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli emphasized on the need for reforms in every sector of society including politics and said that the country will not be run by 'stunts'.

Inaugurating the first conference of young legal practitioners organized by Nepal Bar Association and Young Legal Practitioner Concern Society, Prime Minister Oli said that everyone should fulfill their duties with honesty and loyalty to the people and make the country free from vagrants and the poor.

He emphasized that since democracy has been brought with the leadership of political parties and people's participation, now everyone should be determined to maintain peace, security, good governance and prosperity. Prime Minister Oli said that when parliamentarians make laws, they should work keeping in mind that they are making laws on behalf of the sovereign people and that the government should act as a sovereign. He clarified that he should not entertain the illusion that he is.

'Parliament should make a just law. The relevant bodies should act accordingly. In addition to the principle of balance and control, the practice of following the law is more necessary in a democracy,' said Prime Minister Oli, 'the government is trying to make a well-governed, corruption-free, prosperous and happy Nepali by being truly honest towards the country, and I believe that it will receive active support from legal professionals. .'

Prime Minister Oli expressed his commitment to implement the opinions and suggestions obtained from the conference and said that the situation of young lawyers receiving low wages should end. He made it clear that the current government is with the legal profession and the youth, and assured them that they would pay due attention to the work of law making for the welfare and development of this sector. The survey report of young legal professionals was released in the event, which was also addressed by representatives of the international sector.
