The government has decided to pass the recently issued ordinance through 'fast track'. Minister of Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung informed that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday has decided to pass the ordinance through the fast track during the winter session of the Parliament which will start from January 18th.

Minister Gurung, who is also the spokesperson of the government, in a brief conversation with media persons after the meeting of the Council of Ministers said, 'The ordinance issued by the President has been registered in the Parliament Secretariat, it has been decided to make regulations to implement the ordinance.' 

Mentioning that the government has the constitutional right to issue ordinances based on need, Minister Gurung clarified that the ordinance was issued to promote good governance and solve the problems of the economy. The meeting has also decided to celebrate 'Martyr's Day' by holding various programs.
