Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that coordinated efforts among agencies related to the money laundering prevention system are indispensable for reducing financial crimes.
Prime Minister Oli, while giving his greetings on the occasion of the First National Anti-Money Laundering Day, 2081, emphasized on the coordination of the indicator organizations, regulatory agencies, law enforcement agencies and judicial agencies involved in this system.
'Preventing criminal assets from entering the financial system In order to maintain financial cleanliness, the money laundering prevention system must work effectively,' Prime Minister Oli's message said, 'Since the criminal use of property poses a challenge to the economy as well as governmental cleanliness, we would like to increase the effectiveness of its prevention and provide more encouragement to maintain financial cleanliness in the future. Best wishes.'
He also urged them to work confidently in their professional and professional life without being disturbed in their profession, trade and business with good intentions. Prime Minister Oli's message was read and presented at the venue.
This day was celebrated for the first time in the organization of the Money Laundering Investigation Department with the basic slogan of 'transparency in financial activities and commitment to prevention of money laundering'. The government of Nepal has decided to celebrate this day on every 14th of January from this year on the occasion of the release of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2064.
