The High Court of Pokhara has ordered to submit the quality report of the District Court Kaski's order to release on bail the then managing director of Gorkha Media Pvt.

Hearing the petition filed by the High Public Prosecutor's Office Pokhara against the order of the Kaski District Court, the High Court Judge Rajukumar Khatiwada's bench ordered the submission of the report on Tuesday.

District Court Judge Nitij Rai filed a petition in the High Court with the claim that the order to release all the defendants including Lamichhane on bail was unjustified. While hearing the

petition, the High Court ordered to obtain a quality report from the Kaski Court seeking the basis and reason for releasing Lamichhane and others on bail. According to him, the court has ordered to submit the report within three days. Generally, the court has time to submit such report within 7 days. 

Based on the basis of the possible punishment for the defendant, the possible punishment tomorrow, their involvement in the crime and the amount of the crime, the next day after the government side reached the High Court, it was ordered to submit the report within three days.

The cooperative victim also submitted a petition to the public prosecutor's office saying that he was released with much less bail than he had demanded. 

The defendants of cooperative fraud, organized crime and money laundering cases are Lamichhane, the then managing director of Gorkha Media, who is also the former home minister, Joshi, the then owner, Leela Pachai and Ram Bahadur Khanal, partners of GB Rai, chairman of Gorkha Media, former office bearers of Suryadarshan Cooperative, Meena Gurung, former member of the Gandaki Provincial Assembly from UML, Krishna Bahadur Gurung. And the High Court's report on the merits of the district court's order to release Aarti Gurung on bail Ordered to be thrown out. 

The district court had ordered on December 25 to release Joshi with 88 lakhs, Lamichhane with 65 lakhs, Pachai with 37 lakhs, Khanal with 15 lakhs, Krishna Bahadur Gurung with 1 lakh, Meena Gurung with 5 lakhs and Aarti Gurung with 5 lakhs. The report of the District Court shall be presented to a joint Bench of two or more Judges of the High Court.

The bailed defendant will be informed that the case is pending in the High Court and the defendant will be able to defend the bail order in the High Court. During the full hearing, the bench can order the entire missile to be thrown out.
