The main opposition party Maoist Center has asked the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of the House of Representatives, Rishikesh Pokharel, to resign from the post on the basis of ethics. The Maoists demanded that the Chairman of the Accounts Committee should be given to the opposition party, and that the wife of the Chairman of the Accounts Committee was accused of co-operative fraud and his personal secretary was accused of fraud.
