The Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal, Ek Narayan Aryal, has informed that the e-Governance Commission has been formed for the easy distribution of passports, driving licenses, and foreign employment permits.
Chief Secretary Aryal gave this information in Sunday's meeting of the Federal Parliament's State Director Principle, Policy and Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Committee.
Aryal informed that the commission formed with the chief secretary as the coordinator is working to make service delivery effective. "We have created an e-governance commission for the convenience of all services such as passport, license, foreign employment," said Aryal Informing that the Citizenship Bill has been registered in the Parliament, he claimed that citizens will be able to get citizenship easily after the Bill is passed. He said that the bill will address the demand for citizenship by mother's name, citizens whose father's identity has not been revealed and NAN.
Aryal claimed that the government's policies and programs are being made to achieve justice, equality and prosperity while increasing production, productivity and employment.
Chief Secretary Aryal said that the government is modernizing the laws for economic and social development.
