Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that various ordinances have been introduced as they are necessary for good governance and development after intensive discussions with the top leaders of major parties in the government, experts and concerned parties.
Regarding the ordinance issued by the President on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal, the ordinance has been recommended with great care and diligence as Prime Minister Oli has to issue it in a press conference held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singh Darbar. Our job is not only to sustain the government, the government itself will sustain itself. It is our main responsibility to make it successful and give results,' he said, 'The government's commitment to good governance and development has been vividly revealed by the fact that these ordinances can come in this form. This ordinance has come with full consent. It was rumored that the ordinance was stopped by the President. The land ordinance was only under study, not stopped. There was a fake statement about Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba saying that the ordinance was opposed. All these illusions are shattered. The efforts of those who say that the government has collapsed are just an attempt to cross the river by throwing stones from the side of the vast river.'
He said that the ordinance was introduced based on intensive discussions with the top leadership and experts of both the ruling parties and the suggestions of entrepreneurs and businessmen. He also said that Parliament will be convened at an appropriate time. In the
program, Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal made a presentation regarding the features and requirements of the ordinance.
