Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced to support the social organization Maiti Nepal with Rs 1 crore. Maiti announced that the amount will be given to increase the renewable fund of the organization after conducting an on-site inspection today at the central office in Gaushala, Nepal.
Prime Minister Oli discussed with the founder Anuradha Koirala along with the officials, dependent women and children about the activities of the organization which has been working for a long time against the trafficking of celibates. After the discussion, he announced that since the organization is helping the government in its work, it will increase its Akshaya fund.
Prime Minister Oli assured that the government will take serious initiatives to solve the problems seen and heard during the observation. He praised the institution.
Although the government is responsible for the protection and care of the citizens, he expressed his satisfaction that such organizations have continued the work that could not be done due to various limitations and difficulties. Prime Minister Oli inspected the rehabilitation home, child protection home, ART center for HIV treatment, Teresa Academy School etc. operated in the institution.
