Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party and former Home Minister, who has been made a defendant in the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative case of Kathmandu, has appeared in the district court in Kathmandu.
Lamichhane, who was released on bail from the Kaski District Court on Thursday in the Suryadarshan Sahakari case of Pokhara, came to Kathmandu and contacted the police on Friday. The police brought Lamichhane to the Kathmandu District Court on Sunday in the case against him.
He arrived at Kathmandu District Court a while ago to participate in the case process during the investigation by the police.
In the Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case, the court ordered him to be released on a bond of 65 lakhs . With the order of the court, he was released from custody after 84 days.
Preparations are being made to file a case against Lamichhane on charges of fraud in Supreme Cooperative of Rupandehi, Sahara Chitwan of Chitwan and Sano Paila Cooperative of Parsa.
