The government has decided to extend the tenure of Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police Kamal Giri, Ganesh Bahadur Thadamgar, Kul Bahadur Nemwang and Shambhu Subedi by one year.

Minister of Information and Communication Technology and Government Spokesperson Prithvisubba Gurung gave this information while announcing the decision of the Council of Ministers meeting on 23rd January. The

meeting has decided to appoint Joint Secretary Bishnu Prasad Sharma as the Executive Director of Special Structure Operation and Management Development Committee. He informed that the meeting approved Deputy Auditor General Vamdev Sharma Adhikar to participate in the 'Workshop on Enhancing SAI-CSO Engagement in the ASOSAI Region' program to be held in Manila, Philippines from January 28th to 30th. 

According to Minister Gurung, the Council of Ministers has given approval to the Minister of State for Forests and Environment to participate in the program related to climate change to be held in Rome, Italy from February 12th to 15th.
