During this period, the government has not been able to visibly advance the priorities of 'protecting the national interest according to the wishes of the people, maintaining good governance by controlling corruption and accelerating the development campaign'.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli himself is dissatisfied with the work of the government. . He is expressing his displeasure by saying that the ministries are not performing in accordance with the objective of giving development and economic prosperity along with political stability, by tearing the despair of the common people. 

Oli, who became the Prime Minister for the third time last June due to the alliance between Nepali Congress, the first largest party in the parliament, and CPN-UML, the second largest party, has become dissatisfied saying that this time the situation has become even weaker than his previous tenure. Concerned that the government's work has not been speeded up, Prime Minister Oli expressed his anger on the secretaries of the government last Friday.

A performance agreement letter was signed between Prime Minister Oli and ministers last August for infrastructure construction and service delivery improvement started by the government to fulfill the national aspiration of 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali'. At that time, Prime Minister Oli instructed the ministers to find out and solve the reasons for the delay in development, construction and government service delivery mainly from the ministries and to speed up the work. But the agreement has not been implemented yet. 

The ruling Congress-UML has concluded that the government has not been able to do the expected work during this period. Parties including the main opposition Maoist Center are accusing the government of going on the path of failure. 

Prime Minister Oli, who is also the party president, has mentioned that the expected work has not been done in the political report passed by the UML's central committee which ended on Wednesday. In the report, Oli has claimed to protect national interests and balanced foreign relations, transitional justice, reform the economy, speed up development, intervene in cooperative problems and give justice to cooperative victims.

These works of the new government are positive, but not enough. The people are expecting more rapid development, change and delivery from the powerful government formed with the partnership of the two main parties and the participation of other parties,' Oli wrote in the report. Oli has admitted that the products produced by the farmers have not been able to find a market and the development work has slowed down. "Since the past, the problem of farmers not getting a fair market and a fair price for their products, not being able to solve the problem of the expected speed in development and construction and the expected improvement in government service delivery, investment and business environment are the main challenges faced by the government," Oli believes. 

He claims that the government has gradually moved forward in a positive direction by preventing the economy from going downhill. 'There has been a positive improvement in the capital market. The main opposition party Maoist Center has said that the government has not been able to control the price increase, and there has been indifference in the field of good governance and public service delivery. "Demands the government to make good governance and service delivery effective, including corruption control," Vice President and Spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota said, "Even though the alliance has been formed for six months, this government has gone towards failure. We have been warning against the government's irresponsible work.

The recent Maoist Central Committee meeting drew the attention of the government saying that the Congress-UML coalition government has failed to achieve the goals of good governance, social justice and prosperity. Although the Oli government has said that the problems of the cooperative sector have been resolved, the Maoists have objected.

"The irregularities and fraud seen in the cooperative sector should be impartially investigated and legal action should be taken against the culprits and arrangements should be made to return the savings of the cooperatives and to address the demands of the microfinance victims," ​​the Maoist said.

There is no attempt to change the structure to improve Nepal's economy. Two big meetings of UML-Maoist were held. There was no discussion of economic growth. Accusations continued. I see that Congress, UML and Maoists are paying attention from power to power and from election to election. Three of them (Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML President Oli and Maoist President Dahal) are running the power in turn. They do not have a clear blueprint for the economic prosperity of the country.

But Prime Minister Oli has claimed that the country's economy has improved, right?

That statistics had to be confirmed. Currently, the country's economic growth is only 3 to 4 percent. It is not enough. There should be double digit economic growth. In a poor country like ours, money is piled up in the bank. Accumulating money in the bank means that the economy is in crisis. It should be understood that there is no investment for production. Remittances have fueled the country's economy.

Why is there no improvement in the economy?

There was no approach under the leadership of the three parties. Although the language is different, the focus of Deuba, Oli and Prachanda is not on production, but on power. There is no vision to establish a domestic industry by creating a favorable investment environment. Communists are in name only. When there was a communist government, closed industries had to be run if possible, if not, more new industries had to be opened. Maoist prachandapathari's focus is to go to empty power, manage workers, run the party by taking commissions on contracts. Those same parties have been running the party by exploiting the state.
