Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that pressure should be created to finish the rest of the work related to peace process and transitional justice.

On the occasion of the 26th Remembrance Day of the missing warrior Rajendra Dhakal, in the program on 'Peace Process and Publicization of Missing Citizens' held here today, he said that everyone has to create pressure to conclude the peace process.

Mentioning that there are some elements that prevent the peace process from reaching its conclusion, he said, 'There is also a tendency to take the peace process to a complicated mode, that element is stopping the peace process that is about to be concluded.'

Emphasizing that all political parties should be honest in order to quickly resolve the issues related to peace process and transitional justice, he said that he will discuss this matter with Nepali Congress and CPN (UML).

UML leader Agni Kharel said that the government and his party are sincere in concluding the peace process. "The government is positive to make the peace process successful, the document submitted to the UML central committee meeting also mentions the issue of bringing the peace process to a conclusion," he said, "The government and the opposition parties should stand together to bring the peace process to a conclusion."

Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gobind Bandi stressed that an environment of agreement and trust should be created between the two parties suffering from the conflict, not only looking at the legal aspect, but also to conclude the transitional justice.

President of Nepal Bar Association Gopalkrishna Ghimire said that if there is a delay in finalizing the issues related to transitional justice, the image of the country will be tarnished internationally.
