Yuvraj Adhikari, executive chairman of Nepal Airlines Corporation, has said that the repair of the aircraft has been delayed because the procurement regulations are not airline-friendly. At Tuesday's meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee under the House of Representatives, the executive chairman officer said that the ship repair work is delayed due to the procurement regulations.

The official said that the repair of the ship after it was damaged was related to the procurement regulations. The executive chairman said that the procurement regulations are very old and not airline friendly. He said that since 2076, the corporation has been saying to make the procurement regulations airline-friendly, but there has been no improvement yet.

The official said that even though he told the ministry several times, it could not be improved. He said that the regulations for the purchase of spare parts for the Nepalese army have been improved and if the same is done for Nepal Airlines, it will be easier to work.
