Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey has said that Nepal Airlines Corporation is getting weaker day by day.

In Tuesday's meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee under the House of Representatives, Minister Pandey expressed his displeasure that even though Nepal is the only national flag carrier of Nepal, it has not shown its ability to fly well. 

Minister Pandey said that not being able to operate even the widebody and narrowbody that the corporation has is an inefficiency . The national flag carrier said that he could not intervene even in the role of expanding Nepal's air flights and making air tickets affordable. He said that the Nepal Air Service Corporation has not been able to control and regulate air fares.

'Nepal's air flight expansion and  If air tickets are to be made accessible (cheaper), the national flag carrier should be strong and strong,' he said, 'Only if the national flag carrier is strong will the domestic and international air fares be controlled.' He also said that Nepal Airlines can control and balance the air fares of international flights and prevent them from increasing too much. 'We have discussed with Nepal Airlines many times what can be done for that,' he said, 'but various problems have been seen . In which we are looking for various disputes from the purchase of the ship and the modality of operating the airline corporation and transparency in ticket sales and distribution.'
