Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) President Rajendra Lingden had a meeting. A meeting was held between the two leaders at Deuba residence in Budanilkanth on Tuesday afternoon.
Chairman Lingden said that he had gone to Budhanilkanth to invite the Prithvi Jayanti special program to be organized by RPP on 27th January. In response to Kantipur's question whether there was a discussion on contemporary political issues and constitutional amendment, Lingden said, 'There was a discussion on various issues between the two party leaders. I went to invite Prithvi Jayanti. There is nothing that makes news like that.'
RPP has been doing various programs on the occasion of Prithvi Jayanti. RPP has been holding a tea party every year on Prithvi Jayanti. On that day, the RPP has also gathered the top leaders of the major parties on the same platform.
