Industry, Commerce and Supply Minister Damodar Bhandari has said that since the bill could not be passed even after eight months after the government sent it to the committee for the creation of an urgent law, there has been a situation of questioning the parliamentarians themselves.

In Tuesday's meeting of the Industry and Commerce and Labor and Consumer Welfare Committee of the House of Representatives, Minister Bhandari said, "It is a matter of sadness that the bill has not been passed for 8 months, even though the government has sent it to the committee for making urgent laws.

Although the government brought the bill, the committee said that it could not be passed. He said that the country cannot develop if it takes a year to make a law. "Even if the government sends it to the committee through the parliament for making an urgent law, if it takes eight months, will they also look into what we have done?" I would like to request the parliamentarians including the chairman of the committee, today we will not reach a conclusion for eight-eight months, I have also joined the discussion process,' Minister Bhandari said, 'What will we do if we take a year to make a law ? How should we end this now?'

While the minister was giving his opinion, Ganesh Parajuli, a member of the committee and member of the Parliament of the National Independent Party, objected. Objecting to Minister Bhandari's statement, Parajuli said that the committee can give instructions to the government and said that the minister cannot raise a finger in the work of the committee. Parajuli said that it is the responsibility of the chairman to inform about how the work has progressed in the committee. Parajuli also said that not being able to send the bill to the

committee is a weakness of the ministry.
