Due to the earthquake, the Thame Post Office building of Everest National Park in Solukhumbu has been damaged. Sushma Rana, chief conservation officer of the park, informed that the building of the park in Thametyang, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-5 was damaged due to the earthquake. Two employees were living in the single building made of stone.
According to Chief District Officer Anoj Kumar Ghimire, one/one house has been damaged in Deusa, Kharikhola and Khumbu Thame of the district due to the earthquake.
The local administration and security agencies have started monitoring the affected areas and gathering details of the damage.
