Madhesh-centric parties in an attempt to regroup

Madhesh-centric political parties have once again joined efforts to block the front. When they were shriveled due to repeated party splits, they started looking for common ground between the parties with similar ideas and issues. The parties have been seen trying to find a way to stand in one place by forming cooperation, functional unity or a front.

Since the joint government of Congress and UML, the two largest parties in the parliament, is aiming to amend the constitution, the Madhesh-centric parties have also felt the pressure. In the last one week, all the Madhesh-centric parties have also announced a working group for cooperation efforts.

President of Janata Pragatisheel Party Hridayesh Tripathi had met the leadership of all the parties for the last few days and expressed the need to at least cooperate on specific issues. He said that efforts are being made to work on cooperation between the parties that agree on the issue. ''The Madhesh movement reached a great height and collapsed, which brought disappointment to the Madhesi people. All the leaders feel that," he said. "We should at least sit together on certain issues, and for that, the discussion is going on from the perspective of forming a loose alliance.

He said that there has been a positive response from leaders and parties in the efforts being made for operational cooperation. At the first stage, efforts will be made to cooperate with Madhesh-centric political parties and then Dalit-centric forces oppressed by tribal tribes.

Janmat Party led by CK Raut formed a working group under the leadership of Vice President Abdul Khan on Monday to initiate dialogue and cooperation between Madhesh-centric parties.

Mahanth Thakur-led Democratic Samajwadi Party Nepal has formed a working group under the leadership of Senior Vice President Jitendra Prasad Sonar. The working group has been assigned the responsibility of dialogue, cooperation, functional unity and the possibility of unifying the party with political issues and principles. Senior vice president of LOSPA Sonar, who led the

task force, said that they will try for cooperation between federalism and change forces. "Constitutional amendment, raising the threshold, moving to a two-party system are being heard," he said. It has made everyone realize the need for cooperation between parties whose ideas and issues are compatible. We will discuss how to proceed now among all the parties.'

The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) led by Upendra Yadav has formed a working group for cooperation initiatives under the leadership of Vice President Rajkishore Yadav. The Janata Samajwadi Party led by Ashok Rai has given the responsibility of discussing with the parties by forming a working group under the leadership of Senior Vice President Shivji Yadav and the Janata Pragatisheel Party to the Federal Council Chairman Rajendra Shrestha.
