Former Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has also participated in the meeting of the Central Committee of CPN Maoist Center. He is in the first wave of the front row of the platform of the meeting place. He is accompanied by President Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Senior Vice President Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Vice Presidents Agni Sapkota and Pampha Bhusal.

In the second wave of the platform, there are Deputy Secretaries General Pun, Girirajmani Pokharel, Haribol Gajurel, Shakti Basnet and others. Maoists have 4 vice presidents. Vice President Krishna Bahadur Mahara is not present in the meeting. In the meeting, the 'nameplate' of the 'Vice President' was also placed in front of the former Vice President Pun. The Maoist Central Committee meeting which started from Sunday will continue till Wednesday. 

Former Vice President Pun had been participating in the Maoist Standing Committee meeting before. The Maoist center has also made preparations to make Pun the vice president. Pun himself is also saying that he has joined active politics and that he has no doubt about it. He was a confidant of President Pushpa Kamal Dahal before becoming Vice President. It is said that Dahal is trying to give responsibility to Pun because his side will be strengthened in the leadership group by bringing him into the party. Nanda Bahadur, who has been the vice president for two terms, has started to be active in party politics again. Recently, he has been participating as an invited leader in the meeting of Maoist officials.
