Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh has said that there is no alternative to the current alliance with Nepali Congress and CPN-UML. He said this while addressing a program organized by Nepali Congress Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City on Sunday.
He said that according to the agreement reached during the formation of the government, the alliance will continue until the next election. He asserted that the Congress and UML were sincere in the agreement reached before the formation of the government and claimed that the government would not change.
According to the agreement, after UML President KP Oli, Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba will become the Prime Minister, he said. Both parties know that there will be competition between Congress and UML in the upcoming elections. The current government has been formed according to the needs of the situation. We are working with the government now," said Deputy Prime Minister Singh. "This government is doing development work that the previous government could not complete."
Similarly, he said that the amendment of the constitution will not be done only by the will of one party, and discussions are being held with all the parties for that. Giving an example of the current government's implementation of projects that could not be completed before, he said that the government is working without fuss.
