Prime Minister and President of CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli has said that the country's reactionary forces are terrified because of the strengthening of patriotic, progressive and democratic forces.

Addressing the eighth meeting of the UML Central Committee, which began on Sunday, Prime Minister Oli commented that the reactionary forces are mercilessly and inhumanely spreading false propaganda against the UML. Seeing the popularity of the UML, he urged the people to unite on the basis of the right policies of the party to reduce its popularity and discredit the UML.

'We should not remain silent on the accusations of our opponents. It is a weak idea that you should keep quiet. The allegations of the opponent should be refuted on the basis of facts. All our organizations should be enthusiastic and reach out to individuals and homes. Equal importance should be given to ideological work,' President Oli said, 'Factions and anarchy within the party must be ended. Making factions within the party in the name of democracy will not make the party stronger. We should be able to move forward by keeping the interests of the party and the country at the center of the same political rhythm.'

President Oli asked not to present the internal issues of the party for public consumption. At the

meeting, President Oli presented a 43-page written political report. In the report, the need, rationale and opportunity of forming a new political course with the UML and Nepali Congress, the six months after this formation, instability, anarchy and attempted despair, the changing world environment and Nepal's foreign policy, the review of by-elections and the construction of a decisive national power, etc.
