Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the intention and loyalty of the political leadership should be clear to establish good governance in the country.
Addressing the post transfer program of Kathmandu branch of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists, he said that good governance should not be done by talking about ideals, but intentions and integrity should be clear.
'Many of us talk about ideals, but it is important who does what in practice. Intention and integrity will be more important in this," President Dahal said, "Are we going to be sincere in the way we should be against corruption and in favor of good governance? Nepali society has felt that from the political parties and the government? This serious question must be answered.
Reminding that when he led the government last time, he worked with integrity in favor of good governance against social discrimination and in favor of providing relief to the country from economic problems, he said, 'What I used to say when I was in government and I used to do it, now even when I am out of government, I have said the same thing. People are gradually understanding that my intentions and integrity are clear.'
