A question has been raised in the State Order and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives regarding Shera Durbar located in Vidur Municipality-2 of Nuwakot and the land discussed by it. In the meeting of the committee on Thursday, the MPs questioned the Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar regarding the dispute over the said land.

They have also demanded an investigation into Shera Darbar land and other cases of land irregularities.

In the company that owns the Shera Durbar area, once the members of the royal family were shareholders, now Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who was the prime minister in 2065, his personal secretary Vikesh Shrestha and his son Manobal are the only shareholders.

Due to statute of limitation, 164 ropani land out of 184 ropani of Shera Darbar was registered in 2027 by opening Gauri Shankar Farming. At that time the shareholders of the company were Helen Shah and Vijayrajyalakshmi Shah. Gauri Shankar Farming was renamed Annapurna Farming in 2036.

After this, the company came under the ownership of Shrestha father and son through the transfer of shares. Vikesh, a former central member of the Maoist, is currently inactive in the party. With the conclusion that the land of Shera Darbar has been used in an unauthorized manner, the Central Investigation Bureau of Police has recommended that it be confiscated and transferred to the name of the government.

This issue was raised by MPs in the State Arrangements Committee. In the meeting, UML MP Vasudev Ghimire was interested with the Home Minister writer about the news that was being made public regarding the land of Shera Darbar. He asked whether study and research is being done in this regard.

Maoist Chairman Dahal said that the culprits should be prosecuted in the matter of Shera Darbar land. "If something has been done against the law, like the land of Lalita Niwas, the government should bring it back, I will not only help the government, I will also thank you," he said.

Home Minister Akbar informed that an investigation is being conducted regarding the land of Shera Darbar. The matter related to the land of Shera Darbar will be investigated seriously and action will be taken according to law. If it is found that the land has gone wrongly in the name of a person's company, it will be returned," he said, adding, "The government always moves forward in the work according to the law. Government property is brought back by the government.'

Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa commented that corruption has become a weapon for leaders to expose and accuse each other. He also proposed that the parliamentary committee discuss the remaining corruption files in the presence of the Prime Minister and the former Prime Minister.

'Former Prime Minister (Dahal) is here, Prime Minister (KP Sharma Oli) is also coming. Instead, let's invite another former prime minister (Sher Bahadur Deuba) and discuss which case of corruption should be opened in the committee.'' . "Whenever a person in the government says I will open a file, sometimes a person who is out of the government is about to open a file, that's why this happened, the citizens are more aware than the file," he said He said that all files related to corruption such as Shera Darbar, Lalita Niwas, Giribandhu etc. should be opened.

A bill to amend the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059 has been passed by the State Administration Committee. Chairman Ramhari Khatiwada informed that the committee passed the bill unanimously. The bill was passed after discussing the report prepared by the sub-committee chaired by Hridayram Thani. The

committee is preparing to submit the report in the upcoming session of the House of Representatives. This bill was registered in the National Assembly on January 6, 2076. The bill passed by the National Assembly was also passed by the House of Representatives committee.
